Ivan O. Haefliger is Professor in Ophthalmology at the University of Basel, Switzerland. He is both a clinician and a basic science scientist who trained in Geneva, Basel, London, and Miami. His specialties include anterior segment, in particular glaucoma, as well as oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery. He is a Board Member of the European Vision and Eye Research Association (EVER), Belgium,
and the President of the Examination Committee of the Swiss Board of Ophthalmology.
