EBOD 2026 Exam Announcement

Two EBO exams will be held in 2026:

1. Spring exam (in person, Paris) — 8 May 2026
   (Limited seats available — please apply early to avoid disappointment)

   Paris onsite: MCQ/SBA on tablets, VV face to face with 2 examiners, English language.

   Applications: Open in early October 2025 and close once capacity has been reached or on 15 December 2025 at 18:00 CET, whichever comes first.

2. Autumn exam (online) — 16 October 2026

   Electronic Autumn exam: MCQ/SBA and CC at home on the candidate’s computer, English language.

   Applications: Open 20 March 2026 and close 20 May 2026 at 18:00 CEST.

2026 Candidates — Spring (In person exam in Paris) — 8 May 2026

• Early October 2025: FEBOD Candidate application process (Residents & Specialists) opens for in-person May exam.
• 15 December 2025: Candidate application closes (once capacity has been reached or at 18:00 CET, whichever comes first).
• January 2026: Candidate applications sent for approval to Country National Delegates.
• February 2026: Confirmation of eligible candidates to sit the exam.
• 8 May 2026: Spring in-person exam takes place in Paris.
• 9 May 2026: Exam results released & Diploma award ceremony in Paris.

• 20 March 2026: FEBOD Candidate application process (Residents & Specialists) opens for Autumn exam.
• 20 May 2026: Candidate application closes at 18:00 CEST.
• June 2026: Candidate applications sent for approval to Country National Delegates.
• July 2026: Confirmation of eligible candidates to sit the exam.
• 16 October 2026: Autumn online exam takes place.
• Approximately 4 weeks after the exam: Exam results released.
